Lines

I took this pic on 9.26.10 at 4:30 and my camera was on auto. It's a pic of my camera string cause I was bored and looking for something to take a picture of. I put it on the computer and tried to edit it, but I didn't know how, so I asked Ms. Minkle what I should do and she said I should upload it as is, cause it didn't need editing. I really like this picture cause of the way the light hits it.

Landscapes

I took this picture on 10.19.10 at around 6:30 and my camera was on auto. I took this pic for the sky emphasis because the majority of the pic is taken up by sky.
I didn't do much to this picture, first I used the patch tool to get rid of whatever was down in the bottom left corner. I don't know what it was but I got rid of it. The next thing I did was mess with the color balance, and I set it to -16, 0 and +13.

I actually like the first picture better, I'm not sure why but I like the colors more, I think in the second pic the colors are too blueish.

I took this picture on 10.19.10 at about 6:15 and my camera was on auto. I took it from the loft of my aunt's barn for land emphasis because the majority of the pic is land.

The first thing I did was use the clone stamp tool to erase the tractor and telephone poles in the background. Then I messed with the RGB and the green curves. I tried to make the sky bluer but I couldn't get it to work.

I like the edited pic more because the telephone poles are gone and the colors look better.

Black and White w/ Color

I took this picture on Sunday at around three thirty using auto. At first I wasn't planning on taking the dirt out or doing anything to it, so I just went ahead with the black and white.
The first thing I did was make a new layer and take the saturation out of it to make it black and white. Then I messed with the curves a little but that was it.
Then I took the eraser tool and erased all the black and white. But then I decided to get rid of the dirt on the pumpkin cause it looked bad. So I used the clone stamp tool to get rid of most of the dirt on the pumpkins.

I took this picture cause I was looking for something to take a picture of and I had carved the pumpkin the night before, so I just took a pic of it. I like the third one best cause the pumpkins don't have a bunch of dirt stuff on them.

Photo Cleanup

I took this picture on Tuesday, 10.12.10 at around six o' clock using auto. I was just walking around my aunt's farm looking for something to take a picture of and then found this. It's some old rocking chair by the cow's fence and stuff so yeah...

I did a lot to the edited picture, first I used the clone stamp and patch tools to get rid of the fence and the water spout. Then I cropped the pic a little and turned it and all to straighten the horizon line. Then I tried a little color replacement on the trees across the lake but that turned out bad so I just left it. After that I messed with the curves and the color balance a little, setting it to 0, 0, -16. Then I used the quick selection tool and made a selection around the lake and did a little color replacement and edited the curves to make it more blue. Then finally I used the clone stamp tool to get rid of a piece of the tree branch.

I like the edited picture a lot better because the fence was kinda in the way and the colors are better in the second one.

Color Replacement

I took this photo using auto on 10/9/10. It was in the woods out by our house. I took this picture because I like fourwheeling and had been having trouble finding ideas for stuff to take pics of.

The first thing I did in Photoshop was using the quick selection tool on the red parts of the fourwheeler. After that I used the color replacement tool to change the color to blue. But the blue was kinda green cause of the mud that was on the fourwheeler so I used the RGB and blue curves tool. That made the colors better but it still looked pretty natural. The last thing I did was edit the pic with color balance. I set that to +3, +10 and +24. I used that pic because I like fourwheelers and stuff and I changed the color to blue cause I like blue.
