Photo Cleanup

I took this picture on Tuesday, 10.12.10 at around six o' clock using auto. I was just walking around my aunt's farm looking for something to take a picture of and then found this. It's some old rocking chair by the cow's fence and stuff so yeah...

I did a lot to the edited picture, first I used the clone stamp and patch tools to get rid of the fence and the water spout. Then I cropped the pic a little and turned it and all to straighten the horizon line. Then I tried a little color replacement on the trees across the lake but that turned out bad so I just left it. After that I messed with the curves and the color balance a little, setting it to 0, 0, -16. Then I used the quick selection tool and made a selection around the lake and did a little color replacement and edited the curves to make it more blue. Then finally I used the clone stamp tool to get rid of a piece of the tree branch.

I like the edited picture a lot better because the fence was kinda in the way and the colors are better in the second one.

  1. I like your edited photo much better. The grass is greener and the fence is gone, both of which make the picture more pleasant to look at.

  3. i really like your edited photo because it really focuses on the subject rather than the things around it now that you used the patch tool and clone stamp on certain parts.
