I took this picture on 11.5.10 at about 5:30 and my camera was on auto. It's a picture of an old lantern in front of my neighbor's house. Ms. Minkel told me I needed to say why it's a scale pic so I will ha ha: this is a scale picture because it's making the lantern look big and the house look small even though the lantern is a lot smaller than the house.
The first thing I did was use the clone stamp tool and the patch tool to remove the crack in the lantern, the paint and the piece of straw. Then I brought up the saturation and changed the Green curves. Then I made a new layer and used the quick select tool to select just the house and brought up the saturation in that area more. And finally, I got rid of the little turtle statue.
I like the edited picture more because the colors are better and the turtle statue was kinda distracting. Then only thing I couldn't change (I tried but it didn't work) was to make the house less blury. I couldn't figure out how to change that.

This is cool! I love how little the house looks because the lantern is all big. :]
ReplyDeletei am so glad that you took the poop off of the lantern, but you can tell that you clone stamped the green grass because the rest of the grass is a brownish color. the rest of the picture looks really good.
